Bled and travel
The house is on Kajuhova cesta, a quiet residential street on the eastern edge of Bled. The centre and the lake are a quarter of an hour on foot; for Vintgar, Bohinj or Pokljuka you take the car.

From Ljubljana take the A2 motorway towards Jesenice, exit Lesce, then follow the signs for Bled: about 42 minutes. From Austria through the Karavanke tunnel: about 20 minutes from the tunnel to the house. Enter Kajuhova cesta 38b, Bled in your sat nav.
You park for free at the house, no booking needed. As you can walk to the lake, you don't have to hunt for a space at the lakeside car parks in summer.
Ljubljana airport is a 28-minute drive from the house; Klagenfurt airport in Austria is about an hour away.
Lesce-Bled railway station is 4 km from the house (6 minutes by car). Bled bus station is a 16-minute walk.
